Here’s another review of a Katy, Texas Restaurant

El Vaquero is a great Mexican food Restaurant located on Fry Road in Katy, Texas. This Katy restaurant is situated off of fry road a bit and in a small shopping center. The atmosphere is very casual and inviting.

The food is absolutely delicious with Mexican entrées that include chicken, cheese or beef enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, tacos and your choice of churro beans or refried beans and rice. They have two and three course meals for the adults and also offer kids meals that include American entrées like grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers or chicken strips with fries.

This Katy restaurant happens to be a favorite of my 5-year old daughter who insists we eat there every Wednesday. However, it’s not El Vaquero to her; she calls it the “chip and cheese place with the bubble gum”. She loves their queso dip with rice and tortillas. We are regular patrons so we don’t have to order, we simply confirm that we are eating our usual and our meals are prepared within 10-15 minutes.

Each entrée is also very reasonably priced like an enchilada dinner for only $5.95 and many other favorites for less than $10. My daughter and I order two entrées each visit and our bill is than $15! So if you’re in the mood for great Mexican food, at very reasonable prices, El Vaquero is a Katy favorite!
